Faster feedback from automated tests

Approximately 4× faster automated test execution at EnergyYar, with unit and integration testing and a TDD approach.

Context

Automated feedback is part of maintaining production backend systems. At EnergyYar, my work includes applying TDD and using unit and integration tests to reduce regressions.

Engineering work

I accelerated automated test execution by approximately 4×. The improvement belongs alongside the broader software-quality work: code review, clean architecture, and mentoring backend engineers.

Outcome

The résumé documents the approximate execution-speed improvement. It does not give a baseline runtime or a mutation/coverage score, and no such measurement is asserted here.

Fast feedback and useful assertions solve different problems. The Test Quality Lab is an educational exercise in checking whether assertions detect defects; its examples are not EnergyYar code or evidence of a production test implementation.
